The Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, called for a "re-evangelisation, a renewal of the Christian Faith", a „New Pentecost for the Catholic Church and the Whole World within the Third Millennium", so that all people will recognise and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their only redeemer and saviour.

This appeal for conversion by the Pope, seems to have prompted many reactions. All over the world new organizations emerge, and many people engage themselves in a myriad of different ways for exactly this new evangelisation. This web page intends to publicize relevant information on this subject.

We would like to encourage everybody to tell us about their programs, speeches, retreats, healing masses etc., so that all can listen to and experience the word of God.

Particularly Prominent Centers of Roman Catholic Renewal

1. Kerala : South India

Kerala, one of the smallest states on the Indian sub continent, proudly boasts of a 2000 years old Christian tradition. One of the 12 apostles, Saint Thomas, reached Kerala in the year 52 AD to proclaim the Good News there. In recent years, this state experienced an enormous spiritual renewal through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and became thus the presently perhaps biggest center worldwide of the charismatic renewal.

This is why priests, religious and lay people from Kerala have taken the Pope's appeal very seriously to heart and now travel throughout the world in order to proclaim the Good News. However, their travel itinerary is not always well publicized.

2. Medjugorje

A small village in Bosnia-Herzegovina in ex Yugoslavia, where since 1981 Mother Mary, the Mother of God, appears to six visionaries.

Visionaries, priests, and religious from Medjugorje, or connected with Medjugorje, also travel throughout the whole world, in order to make known the messages of the Queen of Peace and her appeal to "pray, pray, pray". But when individuals do not belong to the relevant prayer groups, or have not subscribed to the relevant magazines, then they often only hear about an interesting speech, convention or Holy Mass taking place in the vicinity, after it is already over. „If only I had known..“ is the inevitable disappointed reaction.

It is thus our intention to also inform about such events in the near future.
